You will develop intellectual and emotional self-regulation, strategies to face challenges. You will reach your own philosophical understandings for everything you wish to transform. Regina guarantees in couples therapy the transformation of conflictual dynamics between two adults who claim to love each other. The model unlocks acceptance and efficient, non-violent communication. Regina assesses the couple to make their shared life possible, working with the two distinct sets of conscious and unconscious values and expectations. Regina guides the couple to identify the symptoms that disrupt balance and helps reconcile new patterns for intimacy, hierarchy, and cooperation. Approaches include the double bind, the enmeshed couple, the overprotective, the conflict-driven, and the addiction-prone couple.

Regina conducts a dynamic analysis of the family as a living organism. She addresses the demands of realignment, conflicts stemming from dysfunctional member patterns, the positive aspects of coexistence, and areas of suffering or tension. Regina utilizes systemic and structural models to address disunity, tension, or violence among spouses, parents and children, psychosomatic families, three-generation families, families with addiction issues, and families undergoing life transitions. Families achieve a restructuring towards change. Regina asserts that human experience always involves more than one person and that relationships are what matter most.

Suffering from an addiction is complex, painful, and individuals should not have to face it alone. Regina has specialized in addiction with years of experience helping people break free from the cycle of substance dependence or addictive processes, and reclaim their lives. With an individualized treatment plan, the history of the addiction is addressed, along with strategies for recovery and specific goals. Regina uses a recognized model based on clinical evidence. Regina not only works to eradicate the symptoms but also addresses the deep roots of the disease. In a safe, judgment-free space, individuals find their own path to healing at their own pace, ensuring coherence and understanding that recovery is a lifelong process. Regina focuses on restoring the family environment and relationships.

For 15 years, Regina has advised the transnational pharmaceutical industry on ethics and best practices in the prescription of medications and in transforming the relationships between doctors and patients. She has promoted harm reduction strategies for drug-related collateral damage and the suffering of individuals seeking to recover their health. With a specialization in Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy and Clinical Research from the California Institute of Integral Studies, Regina is an expert on the psychological, cognitive, and behavioral harmful consequences of using entheogenic plants and psychedelic substances such as psilocybin, magic mushrooms, methylenedioxymethamphetamine (MDMA or Ecstasy), mescaline, peyote, ibogaine, dimethyltryptamine, and Ayahuasca, many of which are rooted in ancestral traditions and medicinal use by indigenous nations worldwide. Regina has taken an interest in researching the therapeutic applications of these molecules and asserts that the critical aspect is harm reduction due to their growing recreational use with adverse effects or inadequate use for treating mental health disorders. Regina learned from experts at the University of San Francisco and Johns Hopkins about the current therapeutic results and benefits of these molecules when administered effectively in the treatment of psychopathological disorders, especially when psychiatric treatments fail. Regina assists individuals in harm reduction, understanding their experiences, psychological effects, and integration into their lives, with a healing impact particularly on symptoms of generalized depression, treatment-resistant depression, and post-traumatic stress disorder.

Individual THERAPIES

She specializes in different psychological and spiritual currents, preferring those that focus on reality according to ancestral philosophies, in which they articulate the new scientific paradigm of quantum theory, in Buddhist psychology, in the psychedelic clinic and therapies that go beyond the psyche. Regina delves into cognitive behavioral and systemic therapies with a clinical and transpersonal approach to eradicate all types of addictions, in the theory of the different levels and states of consciousness, in Native American medicine, in the therapeutic effects of the exploration of perinatal nuances, Holotropic Breathwork, meditation, therapeutic art, in the philosophy of Yoga, Sufism, collaboration circles, women’s circles, and recovery groups in addictions and codependency. YOH promotes the notion that the person is “the medicine,” the medicine for everything they want to heal—disorders, addictions, low self-esteem, or existential pain—and accompanies people to design a treatment plan, focused on accepting themselves, taking responsibility for their lives, restoring their essence, and developing a connection with their inner wisdom.

Regina explains that people, in their pathological, neurotic, obsessive-compulsive or addictive existence, live in the illusion of the small and limited self—an erroneous state of identity, and how it is important to integrate anger, fear, memories of abuse, shame and guilt, as well as to develop strength, confidence and self-love that gradually break down barriers to growth and evolution.
